Brazing in Vacuum Furnace
Brazing in vacuum furnace is a linking process in which two or more items are joined together by the filler metal flowing into the joint. The melting point of the filling material is lower than the target.
- Product Introduction
Unlike many brazing processes, brazing in vacuum furnace do not require melting of the target material. The filler metal flows through capillary action and is carried above its melting point, always receiving appropriate atmospheric flux protection. It flows through the base material and then cools. Brazing in vacuum furnace helps to link the same or different metals with high strength.
Brazing in vacuum furnace has many advantages because it does not melt the base material, allowing for stricter tolerances and producing cleaner joints without the need for post-treatment. Due to the uniform heating process, the vacuum brazing furnace also produces less thermal deformation. Complex structures can be efficiently and economically vacuum brazed, making them ideal for large-scale production and automation.
